Agreed. Vanilla is the only real ice cream. I don't care for chocolate or strawberry.
Although I do sometimes add chocolate syrup or butterscotch syrup to my vanilla, if I am feeling wild and woolly. DQ chocolate dips are right up there too.
Fresh strawberries or wild blueberries are good additives, or if you are in that country, fresh serviceberries or huckleberries. Or bananas, muskmellon, etc.
Somehow, above fruits just don't seem to work with anything but vanilla.
