I have a nice box of Western Super X 22LR hollow point bullets in a bright yellow box with the common red Western diamond. Inside are 10 boxes of 40 rounds each for a total of 400 rounds. The product code on the outside corner of the large main box states W22LRHP. These bullets are 40 grains. Nowhere is it listed though as to what the fps rating is for these rounds. I would like to know as some of my revolvers can only fire standard velocity rounds whereas my semiauto rifles and pistols needs the high velocity stuff. Maybe some of the older knowledgeable shooters might know the fps rating for these rounds? I'm guessing they are 1960-1970's vintage and what little bit I have shot using them they fire really well and are consistent. I've contacted Winchester Ammunition but I haven't heard anything back from them in a while. There are no ballistics charts I can find with fps data of the Western 22 LR ammo. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
