Back around '91-'92 I sent a mirror polished stainless Ruger Super Blackhawk in to have the ejector stud re-attatched. It was of course returned with the standard brushed finish.
A year or two later Ruger came out with the Vaquero in polished stainless. I couldn't help but think when my gun showed up, that someone didn't say.. "Hey Dave, come take a look at this..."
