Ok after looking at it, it is not perfect but darn close for a 60 year old rifle. The box label is intact and indicates that it is a sporting carbine. Lyman peep, box numbers to the carbine, sling added and the bullseye is where the sling stud is. Book says 58 or 59 for manufacturing date. 20 inch barrel and still has original rear sight. No hood on front sight. Interesting is in the box there is a small Marlin marked envelope with a marlin marked box containing the original aluminum hammer extension and the original Allen wrench.
