I know this aint as big as the tractors most of you run, but I have a charging problem. I was able to get the shop manual test procedures for the alternator and regulator. Right off the bat, the test for full load on the alternator failed. Then I found doing the regulator tests, that one of the wires in the plug connection was corroded.

So I'm thinking of installing a single wire internal regulator alternator and not worrying about any other problems. Anyone do this?
