Yeah he was pretty excited. I've been elk hunting the last few years with him and another son but had to cancel this year due to a ruptured achilles tendon. Had surgery 3 weeks ago and wont get back to normal till the end of the year. So he had his brother with him. They're really close, both work for DNR and they're both in really good shape. But they said this was a tough pack out. Hated to miss this one.
