Gambling on a cheapskate haul could get terribly expensive in case of an accident. A trailer heavy enough to haul the rig safely, a truck big enough to tow (and stop) it, and someone experienced enough to make the haul without a lot of drama won't come cheap. How much are you willing to risk that something won't go horribly wrong if you pick the first guy who gives you a lowball price?
