The base mounting is set up for Remington 700 LA I believe, the stock while uniquely different in profile feels very rigid, stout yet light, fills my hand well. The trigger is phenomenal on mine for a factory make and adjusts easily as any trigger I've used. Both my mags cycle quickly and so far flawlessly.....its as good a $750 -$900 rifle I ever paid $490 to have delivered to a lgs.
