I also have hunted with a 33 WCF Model 1886. I've been hunting with a M 1895 in 30-40, mfg. 1910, and have killed deer with both rifles. I have some unfinished business with the Model 1895 and plan to trade off between it and a non-Winchester 250-3000 this year. Looking forward to it!
