Home Forums Hunting & Shooting Savage Collectors Lyman 66S-24, Were M24's ever D&T'd from the factory?

Going through my drawer of peeps and tangs and found a NIB Lyman 66S-24. My M24 is a 1970's gun I believe with the dovetail on top of the receiver, would have to be D&T'd to fit this, easier to use a dovetail Redfield mount.

Were M24's ever D&T'd at the factory for a side mount Lyman? Would be two holes on the left side like old Win. M94's.
