I went from an Exped downmat 9 dlx to a thermarest Xtherm. Both comforatable, both designed for cold weather.... the xtherm weight difference is the seller there. User friendly? Maybe times have changed, but the Exped was more of a PITA to blow up, especially if you use the recommended inflation bag. Maybe that has changed as I bought my Exped over 12 years ago.... which is now the basecamp pad and needs an air boost every night.
