My wife and I have hunted quite a bit in Alberta... they asked us to pick up around $150 worth of Coors beer... We bought eight cases and took 'em along when we drove up
That reminds me. Years ago, we went bear hunting up past Thunder Bay in Ontario. We didn't even have any beer. But, an OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) pulled us over. I forget why. He gave us a warning. But, subjected us to a heated rant about how much he hated Americans, because among other reasons "They won't even buy their beer here!"
