I suggest you determine whether your hunting area allows use of lures. Many states do not because of the possibility of lure's contamination with CWD prions.

I mention this because most lures/scents are obtained by way of penned animals. And penned animals are reputed to be significantly more likely to have CWD, possibly in its dormant stage.
