Not to take anything away from Grayback, but you mentioned good men lost.
IronBottom Sound...off Guadalcanal. A lot of good Sailors lost due to the US getting into the war on a shoestring, but willing to do it nonetheless.
I have a huge amount of admiration for a Submariner. That's not something I'd really want to do, I'd rather stay above the water and fight.
