I've fished out of Kona several times over the years and am by no means an expert. We usualy go in Feb - March and have caught Mahi Mahi, Ahi, Short Billed Spearfish and Striped Marlin. Blue Marlin are always the prized trophy but my understanding is winter months may not be the best time to target the larger ones.
