After putting 2 of my granddaughters on bucks, I really didn't have any plans to shoot one myself unless it was a good one. Here on the home farm, we're surrounded by farms that have a Mennonite sitting in every other tree. I've been hunting with the in-laws some, as they have a better opportunity for a good deer than I do at home. But, got a pic on trail cam of one this week, and went back this morning to the shooting house I built for the grandkids (and me) and this old boy came across the bean field at 6:15. The 140 grain Nosler BT worked perfectly at 200 yards.
