This is a gun that was bought on auction at an estate sale with no other info.
Model 70 with a serial number from 1947, New barrel with 0 marking to indicate chambering or any other info. It looks like it was mid process at a gun smith for work and was sent back unfinished.
Can a good smith figure out the chambering or is it just worth the action at this point?
