I believe that 422.9 million is an extremely conservative number. I think it's north of 600 million.
There were almost 300 million background checks run under Obummer. So I would guess, 600 million is closer to the truth.
Probably more than that. If there were 300 million checks run during the 8 years of the Obama administration, many of them were for more than one gun. Also there's a century or so of guns sold before then and three years of sales after.
