A friend bought one of the Remington rifled 12 ga. barrels that came with the cantilever mount and a Remington scope. The scope didn't last long enough to even sight his 870 in. You can shake it and it rattles. He put an old Burris (American made) 3-9x on it, and has been very successful with it.
I would hope Remington dropped that scope set up!
