My shooting buddy Herman, now 97, would drive to Jenkintown, PA from Paterson, NJ back in the 1950s for trigger work by Jaeger. He would leave off the rifle on a Saturday and pick it up the next Saturday.
I have one of Herman's FN 270s with a Jaeger trigger on it. I have another FN Mauser, a 1950 vintage Weatherby in 7mm Weatherby Magnum that also has a Jaeger trigger. Weatherby used Jaeger triggers back then on their FN actions. That was before the Mark V came along.
