Most of the ones sent here for are members of the Royal Family, which takes in a lot of relatives, the ones who make the training cut as pilots get to go back and fly F-16's. The ones who don't are Engineers, which is what we call a Maintenance Technician.

The pilots are a best only mediocre and the Engineers are even worse. Practically all maintenance is contracted out to U.S. based companies and pays very well if one is willing to put up with the enviroment it can be very lucrative income.

Most common comment when a Saudi pilot or technician screws up - "It is Allah's will". In other words not their fault the aircraft makes a bad landing or the system they repaired was not successful.
