Get a Browning A-Bolt if you have to scratch that itch. I've had mine for around 20 years and still use it all the time. Mine is very accurate with Lightfield Hybrid Supremes.
They can be had used these days for around $500, Brand new for under $700 if you take your time looking.
I would second this suggestion 100%! For the money these guns are well worth it. Browning made them for a while, discontinued them, and the result was they brought prices higher than the MSRP when Browning made them, so Browning brought them back.
