Many years ago Ruger made a run of Black Hawks called the Buckeye special. They were made for Buckeye Sporting Goods in Ohio. The first run was a convertible with a 32-20 cylinder and a 32 H&R Mag cylinder. Then a couple years later they offered the original purchasers a 45 ACP/45 Colt convertible, then a 38/9mm. It was a pretty cool set. They all had the same serial with an A,B,and C to differenciate each. If Savage did that and offered each of the 4 Savage cartridges, I'd buy all 4. It just helps if they let you know ahead of time.


Last summer at a local estate auction I scored one of the 32-20/32 H&R Mag versions, NIB. It went cheap. Nobody loves the 32-20 anymore...
