All: Just got back from a Texas deer hunting trip. I went with my oldest son because it was his turn. Although not with a Savage, all these critters were taken with the 250 Savage. Load was a 100gr Silvertip. The rifle was a Remington 700 Classic in 250 Savage. Rifle was made in 1984 only. It’s nickname is the Gipper, largely because of the 1984 electoral blowout.
