Shocking video above shows a road rage incident on Interstate 59/20 in Bessemer, Alabama over the weekend.

Here's what the Bessemer Police Department said about the incident:

"On Saturday December 21 at approximately 3:00pm, the Bessemer Police Department responded to I59/20 on a call of a fight/accident. Once on scene officers and a supervisor spoke with the involved parties and witnesses. Officers gave the involved parties the opportunity to file police reports. Neither party wished to file a report and all decided to go their separate ways.

"We have seen a video by one of the involved parties posted to Facebook. The video is only part of the incident and not a depiction of the total event.

"To avoid incidents like this, remain calm when travelling the roadways especially during peak traffic times and holidays. Be courteous to fellow drivers and if a situation should become heated and/or out of control do not confront another motorist, but contact your local police department immediately.

"It should be noted that the man in a uniform shirt does not work for the Bessemer Police Department neither as a police officer nor as a corrections officer."

We've reached out to the other man in the video and are waiting to hear back.
