Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed it. I'm a big fan on Rocky's wildcats. I had an 8mm built for my Dad, about 20 years ago and it's a lot of fun working up loads for it(although I tend to stay just north of Euro 8x57 velocity, could probably get more I guess). Someday I may build a 6.5, a gunsmith friend of my Dad's built one back when I was a teenager and told Dad to take it out and "test" it during deer season that year. Dad still says that it was the most accurate rifle he has ever shot(and Dad was a USMC Scout/Sniper in '70-'71).

Rifle sold on GB a few years ago, unfortunately, I ran out on money to bid before the rifle ran out of bids. The smith that built it has been gone, probably 25 years. It was an awesome piece of equipment.

I don't always shoot Mausers, but when I do...I prefer VZ-24s.
