Under the theory that the trial is on 2 specific things, obstruction and abuse of power, witnesses should be tied to that. Whistelblower and Schiff would then be valid. But how do either of the Biden's contribute to that?


Amateur comment here, but it seems like the Bidens are connected to the abuse of power charge. The charge is that the President abused his power by having Ukraine check into allegations of corruption by Biden (and that's all that the phone call transcript proves). If the allegations are true, then the President is merely fulfilling his duty to uphold law and find out if something illegal is going on in high places. The fact that the alleged criminal is connected to opposition politics is messy, but should not give the corruption a pass.

I don't think that they should call any witnesses, but if they do, expose Hunter Biden and his father, and show that Trump had good reason to check into what they were doing in Ukraine.
