Here’s what I actually use:

Swarovski 8.5x42 EL for all my hunting, including varmints. The resolution and contrast is so good on Alpha glass that if it’s in front of me, I can see it. I also have a Zeiss 10x20 that I mostly use at the pistol range, never in the field as yet.

I have a Leica 900 RF bought in 2001! So old. But it works!

I use two spotting scopes. Both are Leicas. One is angled 77mm with a 32x “wide angle” eyepiece. The other is a straight spotter 62mm with a 20-60 variable eyepiece. I much prefer the angled scope. BTW the eyepieces are interchangeable if I like.
