It is a fine antelope round. Just a little slower than what I'm looking for.

It's just a tad on the sedate side with velocity of 2960 with 100 grain projectile. 25-06 with 100 grainers is running 3350+/- and .257 wby is running 3400+.


I've killed 30+ antelope with my .243 shooting 95 grain Fusion ammo. I've also killed them with a 25-06 and my 7MM-08, but when it times to get serious I grab the .243.
