Put me in the Marlin tube feed camp, 783/883. I have owned a few different .22 mags and since I never loved the cartridge would eventually move them down the road mainly because they weren't that accurate. Regret it latter and get to wanting another. The best two shooters I've had were both 783's. When I finally realized that around 1" groups were good enough for about anything I'm going to do with a .22 mag I bought a beat up 783 for cheap. Some lots of ammo have stayed under 1" at one hundred and the current bricks that I have will do around 1.25".

For the record my Ruger American .17 HMR does have extraction issues.
