The goal is not winning, nor placing... it is about controlling the money and therefore the narrative.
I have heard this. Bloomberg isn't buying the election - he is there to buy the party. Recent events and this Iowa caucus shows the vacuum within the Dem party. He will spread his money to try and pull even bigger strings.
