Won’t be long you won’t be able to recruit people to be officers
That is already here. The city I worked for had the test last fall and barely had 100 people take it. There were over 500 people taking that test when I took it 25 years ago. Only a small portion of the 100 taking the test pass the background or physical fitness standards if they get past the written test. Departments are struggling to find qualified people. I have tried talking my son out of it, hoping he heads another direction after the military.
