the problem for me was cost of the ammo. I can just about shoot 223 for the cost of it. heck I can spend an extra 4 bucks a box and shoot 357 mag from my marlin 1894. I think the ammo is overpriced. I really do love the HMR but for me its kinda a betweener that doesn't get shot all that much. but man it sure is accurate.
