I am paying the fools in DC as well. I just called a new accountant we are switching to down in MS. She came recommended by many of my former co-workers when I was contracting last year. I'm also having her re-do my 2018 taxes, as the CPA here in AK told us we couldn't write a few things off, but she told me that was false. If the VA would go ahead and pay me my back pay for my disability claim from when I retired in 2018, I'd be good to go.
