I've been buying Leupold scopes since I could afford them, about 30/35 years. Some scopes adjusted pretty accurately, some didn't but were close enough to where I could get zeroed without too much trouble. I've got a 2017 mfg. 2-7 VX2 that's like trying to win the lottery getting it to be close to the advertised 1/4" clicks at a 100 yds when trying different ammo. Sometimes it's 8 clicks to move poi an inch, sometimes a lot less, sometimes a lot more. Finally replaced it with a 1987 Leupold 2-7 with friction adjustments, not as fast to zero as good clicks but a lot faster than the 2017 VX2.

Anyone here sent a scope back to Leupold in the past few years for bad tracking and got it back working as it should.

As a side note I've got a $70 Bushnell Banner that adjusts perfect, move the poi where you want it it's there?
