Not to start an arguement, but I have to disagree w/ the Flat heads for hunting unless you'll be keeping your distances to 25yds and under. The best round headed pellets outdistance the flat heads by a wide margin once you get out a ways or if you shoot in a cross wind. Try them for yourself and then shoot them over the Chrony at distance, and you'll see what I mean. The flat heads do hit w/ athority, but they loose energy at a rapid pace compared to the more aerodynamic round heads (JSB Exact, Beeman FTS, or Crosman Premier FT). Take a peek over at Straitshooter.com and look at the balistics tables for any given rifle and you'll see what I'm talking about.
