In our match last Saturday 25% of the weapons were Glocks. They definitely have the accuracy and reliability to compete in the Production and Carry Optics divisions. If you can do your part the Glock platform will not hold you back. One thing I noticed was two of our competitors were Mounties from Saskatchewan and both used Glocks in the Production Division. I use a CZ Shadow 2 and a Beretta 92FS in USPSA and IDPA and the dry fire topic is still hotly debated by the folk shooting competition. I asked the armorer at the Front Sight Academy in Pahrump NV about dry firing and his reply was dry firing will not hurt the "newer CZ's" and nothing but running dry hurts a Beretta. That being said I use snap caps when dry firing.
