Based on what advice I have received on the forums I am going with the .348 Ackley Improved version. I doubt any Alaskan critter will know the difference between a 250 grain .348 bullet or a 250 grain .35 caliber bullet when driven around 2,500 fps mv. I have a bunch of Kodiak Custom Bonded 250 grain bullets headed my way. Once the rechambering job is complete I will learn to fire form brass.

I am excited and this is probably my one time adventure into the "wildcat" arena, other then our 338-06, which is hardly a "wildcat" any more.
