Mine had a one piece Redfield type.
OK.
had it drilled and tapped.
Now it has Talleys.
Some have had good luck with two piece just using one
back screw.
Wish I had tried it.
Being a belt/suspended type, I would epoxy it fast also.
Bet it would be just fine.
A tad of heat, and the epoxy would come right off.
