I would get the Summit or Tahoe unless you are packing out elk or have heavy loads. Down side- No Gore Tex, Padded but not insulated, poor insoles.

Get half to one size larger than your street shoes, replace the insoles, wear a liner and outer sock, grease them with Obenauf wax and you will be good to go for everything but extreme cold. These will last through two or three resoles so really a good bargain.

I have had both Rocky and Danner's loose their soles at inopportune times, like coming down a steep trail in the dark or slogging through ankle high mud.
