What I really hope for is that enough people who vote realize that the bureaucracy, and the promise of utopia if we just enact more liberty-depriving laws, are not only counterproductive, they are impediments to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Included in this, of course, are the oppressive gun laws that the left claim make us all safer. It didn't take much for the government to shut down fundamental rights and fail to provide basic services and I really hope this is not lost on the younger folks.
