I heard a doctor who I'd trust on the matter on the radio the other day taking questions from callers on the radio. After a slightly audible smirk he said no, gargling or drinking alcohol will not kill the C19 virus if its in your throat. Nothing would kill the virus if its in your throat because at that point it is contained within your cells.
