I took a dose of Ivermectin when my blood work showed a high eosinophil count and waited two weeks and took another dose to catch the hatch out in case I had parasites. The high count was later judged to be allergies to hay and farm dust but I did notice a bit change in digestion so maybe I did kill some parasites. I have given it to dogs as heartworm prevention. I've been told that killing an established infestation of heartworms in a dog will kill the dog when the worms turn loose. Another time a pour on dose of Ivermectin sufficient for a 500 lb. animal ran down my arm and pooled in a rubber glove I was wearing. We were busy so I didn't wash up for several hours. The stuff seems fairly safe for mammals.

Patriotism (and religion) is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Jesus: "Take heed that no man deceive you."
