I know they did assemble them in Orofino but much longer ago than a "couple years". The two I mentioned above are both well over the age of two. That NXS is a zero stop model but fairly early on in that generation.

They still made ATACRs and BEASTs in the US as of a couple years ago. US marked NXS haven’t been made here in at least 6 years. The scope tubes and some internal parts on the US scopes were made at Mili-Tech in Cottonwood, ID. Glass is of course from Japan on all scopes.
