Picked up a couple of SKS (mid 60s era) from Sportsmans Warehouse. Most of the bluing still there, clean bores and little wear on metal parts inside and out.
Most of the stock wear appears from banging the boots on the furniture.

26th root [400/90] = 6% compounded annually. That is great appreciation for a rifle. That is up there with double action Colts.
Yeah, the guns sold in the 90s were primarily NEW commercial renderings or very late model manufacture. Cheap 60's era Novas and Chevelles have appreciated greatly, too. So your point is that you are living in the present and not in the past?
