Big story in the papers here for the last couple of day's. About Marine Maj. Hal Sellers (now in Kuwait) and his family.
Maj. Sellers is second in command of the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. This week his 4-month old son Dillon underwent a heart transplant, a few miles from here at Loma Linda Medical Center. His family living in 29 Palms. Maj. Sellers was offered by the Marine Corps a desk job at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms. But after spending months training as second-in-command of his unit. He was concerned about bringing in a new member so late in the training. He had to make the difficult decission between family and duty to Country. He shipped out with his unit 21 Feb, 2003. At this time Baby, and Family seem to be doing fine.

What a decission, one I wouldn't want to have to make. This is one family worth keeping in our prayors!
