Anybody have experience with Lever and 117gr RN bullets in the 25-35?

I see LoadData has published for Lever and the 110gr FTX. Any advice on safely trying it with 117gr RN? Keep in mind, is in an old german combination gun/break action, so i can’t be too cavalier about it, and am asking since not an expert on experimenting. 27” barrel, loads running about 100-150fps faster than data predicted for 4895, 3031.

From Loaddata.com, using 110gr bullet.

Lever 20.4 gives 2000fps
Lever 27.9 gives 2500fps

Generally looking for 2100-2200 in that cartridge/bullet. So with a 117gr bullet, OK to start at 20.4gr and chrono it, go from there? Start lower? If so, how do you estimate “how much” lower?

Thanks for the guidance.
