My wife took her concealed carry class with my old Buckmark that had a FastFire II on it. She could shoot that gun well but when it was time to qualify, she could not get that switch to move. She saw how demanding the course of fire was and just shot it without the dot turned on, passing with flying colors.
As soon as she got home she was showing me the switch was broke but it worked fine then and thereafter. They are good sights.
