Cabots makes some good products or spar varnish...also Watco makes a good exterior/marine grade finish as well.

Realize spar varnish is quite waterproof. Put it on and you commit to a lot of regular work keeping it good looking. Like brightwork on a boat, beauty comes at a large price.
Lots of good ordinary deck stains out there that will not look as good to start but will require less maintenance. In the long run they look better longer.
