Demonstrators." That is always the same refrain to
excuse the looters, arsonists, assaultists, and thieves.
Peaceable assembly to protest and demonstrate against some perceived injustice is acceptable in a society of laws and civilized people. Looting, arson, assaulting innocents, and thievery are law breaking and those who commit those crimes should never be called "demonstrators." They should be arrested and tried at court.
That woman is just turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by the "demonstrators."
